The Licence can be operated as a standalone business or as an adjunct service
to a current

Reliable information is the basis for sound strategic decision
making in all organisations. To remain competitive, most Australian businesses

access to key market information. However, much data available on-line
are multi-sited, unreliable, outdated and/or irrelevant. Key regional
data are
patchy, closely held, or not available.
Governments too have a need for
accurate and reliably gathered and analysed data on business activity. In
Australia alone, a variety of Federal
Government departments, six State governments, two Territory and 673
local governments
are constantly seeking data on business performance within their
areas of responsibility.
The Centre for Independent Business Research provides Independent
business owner-managers, industry groups and others with accurate
and timely
information including:
- Social and industry demographics;
- Industry benchmarks, practices, drivers and success
factors;
- Political, economic, socio-cultural and technological
influences;
- Skills creation, availability and access;
- Relevant government support programs and initiatives;
- Region specific risk factors; and
- Sources of capital.
Your License will give you access to expert research capability
and infrastructure. Master Licencees are also able to recruit
Regional Licensees. Ongoing
support and training is provided.
This is your business - you are not tied into strict demands
on ‘how
you run your business’. There are a few basic things we ask you to do,
but other than that you can do it your way, or our way – we
will support you, whatever you choose.
